Terms and Conditions for VidRank

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of VidRank ("the App"), developed and operated by Vyke Digital Ventures ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using VidRank, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

VidRank is a YouTube SEO and analytics tool that helps creators analyze their channel and video performance, discover keyword opportunities, and receive recommendations to improve discoverability on YouTube. VidRank connects to your YouTube channel via the YouTube Data API with your permission.

2. Accounts

You may use VidRank anonymously or by signing in with your Google account.

• Anonymous sessions are tied to your device and may be lost if you uninstall the app or clear its data.
• Signing in with Google allows your data to sync across devices and links your account to your Google identity.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

3. YouTube API Services

VidRank uses the YouTube Data API to access publicly available and permission-granted data from your connected YouTube channel. By using this feature, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and acknowledge Google's Privacy Policy.

You can revoke VidRank's access to your YouTube/Google account at any time through your Google Account permissions page.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App in a manner that sends more requests than a human could reasonably produce
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or infrastructure
• Use the App to violate YouTube's Community Guidelines or Terms of Service

5. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

VidRank may offer optional premium features or ad-removal purchases through Google Play Billing. All purchases are billed through Google Play and subject to Google Play's refund and billing policies. Prices are displayed in the App prior to purchase.

6. Advertising

VidRank may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob to support the free version of the App. Ads are subject to Google's advertising policies.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, logo, features, and underlying code, is the property of Vyke Digital Ventures and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

VidRank is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that SEO recommendations, rankings, or insights provided by the App will result in improved YouTube performance, as this depends on factors outside our control, including YouTube's own algorithms.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vyke Digital Ventures shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, including loss of data, revenue, or channel performance.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to VidRank at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we deem harmful to the App or other users.

11. Changes to the App and Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. We may also update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.
